I am Maosu (Eric) Li (ๆŽ่Œ‚็ฒŸ), an Assistant Professor at the Thrust of Urban Governance and Design, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou).

My research interests lie in 3D City Vision Analytics through i) 3D City Information Modeling, ii) Machine Learning, and iii) Data Management and Analysis.

Nov 26, 2024 My great honor to win the IEEE GRSS Excellent Dissertation Award (First Prize) from the IEEE GRSS Hong Kong Chapter. Many thanks for the recognition.

Apr 21, 2024 Glad to win the Gold Medal with Prof. Yeh and Frank at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2024. Our winning project title is โ€œAutomatic AI generation of photorealistic window views and openness indexes using 3D City Information Models (CIM).โ€
Mar 4, 2024 Maosu received both HKU Foundation Publication Award for Research Postgraduate Students 2023 and Best Poster Presenter Award at the HKU Research Postgraduate Symposium 2024 cum Award Presentation Ceremony held on March 4th in Lecture Hall II, Centennial Campus. Many thanks.
